Book Review: The Final Summit

The Final Summit:

A Quest to Find the One Principle That Will Save Humanity

by: Andy Andrews

In this sequel to "The Traveler's Gift", Andy Andrew's follows up on the story of David Ponder, an ordinary man who has been given an extra-ordinary opportunity. I haven't read the first book, but from my understanding David Ponder needs saving from a life spiraling out of control. In this sequel, David Ponder is given the responsibility to save humanity. Brought together with a cast of famous historical characters, the group must answer one question: what will it take to save humanity from itself, essentially. While I appreciate Andrews style of writing and intention, I wasn't too impressed with this book. It was a quick read and had a few thought provoking moments. Many of which were the stories about the lesser known historical figures represented in this book. This isn't at the top of my list of recommendations but it was an easy and quick read. Maybe great for a day at the beach this summer.
